COST-EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS
TMK offer safe, high quality and cost-effective services delivered by excellent equipment and fully trained personnel.
GATE VALVE MILLING SERVICES
TMK Gate Valve Drilling units are new and innovative designs that incorporate the latest technology and the very best in safety features. These innovative design features ensure a constant and smooth operation with infinitely variable weight on bit and rate of penetration while milling.
Our Gate Valve Drilling unit is used for drilling out broken or inoperable gate valves in X-Trees and is designed to perform these services with pressure below the gate. Our GVD unit can also be used to mill out junk, scale or wax deposits in the wellhead and hanger area while under pressure. Using a remote console ensures operator personnel are clear of any potential hazards that may arise.
GVD UNIT KEY FEATURES:
- 10 – 15K working pressure
- Capable of milling fully closed and partially open stuck valves up to 7 1/16”
- Balanced closed-loop system prevents unwanted rod movement
- Integrated secondary seals
- Mills designed to suit any application
- Secondary seal system as a backup to primary seals
- Ability to disconnect from milling head negating the use of costly shear seal BOP systems
HOT TAP SERVICES
Our Hot Tap Drilling units use similar design features to our GVD unit, using completely balanced drill rods in a closed-loop pressurized system. Operated from a remote console ensures operator and facility safety reducing risks.
The TMK Hot Tap unit is used for drilling into pressurized systems to vent trapped fluids or gasses. Using 2” 1502 Weco connections this unit utilises standard 1502 connections when it comes to the bleed manifold, as simple as three Plug valves a Tee piece and a bleed-off hose.
HOT TAP UNIT KEY FEATURES:
- 15K Working pressure
- Saddle clamps in stock for standard tubing
- Saddle clamps can be manufactured for none standard sizes of pipework
- 2” 1502 Weco connections
- Lightweight and compact
LN2 FREEZE SERVICES
Freeze services are performed when a conventional mechanical plug may not be used.
Using the Accu-Freeze™ LN2 system we can accurately form an ice plug inside pipework/casings that conventional plugs may not be suitable or easily installed.
Ice plugs can be formed to create a barrier when conventional plugging techniques are not suitable allowing well maintenance to be performed. Ice plugs have been known to outperform conventional mechanical plugs during testing in certain circumstances.
The Accu-Freeze™ systems digital control means the quantity of LN2 required for freezing services is reduced significantly as very little is wasted venting to the atmosphere.
